BBC features La Vida in Citizenship Investment

The BBC ran a recent article on its website asking “is citizenship for sale”. With the rapid rise in citizenship investment programmes in recent years fuelled by demand from an increasing international population of wealthy middle class investors seeking global mobility solutions the answer to the question appears to be yes. More and more governments are willing to offer either residency or citizenship and a second passport to those who can afford the investment. Such income is a major export for many Caribbean countries and has helped boost real estate markets post credit crisis in Europe for countries such as Portugal and Cyprus.
