Dominica Expand Visa-Free Travel to China
Dominican passport holders already enjoy visa-free travel to 152 countries and territories worldwide, however, their global access just got better!
On 22nd November 2021, Dominica’s Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit announced that the nation had signed a visa-free waiver with China during a visit from Chinese Ambassador Lin XiangJiang. This addition had been discussed earlier in the year , but seeing the plan come into fruition is very reassuring and promising for both existing passport holders and potential CBI applicants alike.
With the addition of China, Dominica’s Passport Value is significantly enhanced, increasing its global GDP access from 42.4% to 58.3%, as measured by La Vida’s Passport Investment Report. Dominica and Grenada are the only Caribbean CBI nations to hold a visa-waiver agreement with China, putting their overall passport value higher than the others. The Commonwealth of Dominica now benefits from visa- free travel to some of the world’s largest economies, including China, UK, Germany, France and many more.
